01. How much is summer camp?
Buttercup STEAM camps cost $485. There is a $175 deposit to hold a seat, with the remaining balance to be paid by June 6th. Click Here to Register.
This year Buy Now/Pay Later options are now available through Klarna or After Pay. Availability and approval is based on your credit qualifications. This option is provided as a convenience.
If you are registering your child after May17th full payment is required for to reserve a slot for summer camp. Klarna/AfterPay may be used to make full payments as well.

02. Do you have an Early Bird discount?
For 2025, we are offering an Early Bird discount, only for the month of March for $399 for one week of camp. The registration must be paid in full. After March 31st, the registration fee will return to $485/per week.

03. Do you offer scholarships for camp?
Yes, we have a very limited number of partial scholarships for potential campers from low-income families.
Our primary eligibility criteria is that the camper receives or is otherwise eligible for the free/reduced lunch program at their school. Proof of free/reduced lunch eligibility must be provided with the scholarship application. Each application will be reviewed by committee and available awards will be distributed until donor funds are depleted.
Applications for our Partial scholarships will be open in April 15, 2025. Deadline for Applications has been extended to May 12th. Applicants will be notified no later than May 15th.

05.What are the age groups for camp?
Summercamp is for girls age: 8 - 14, as of June 1, 2025.
Beginner Level camp: ages 8 - 12
Intermediate Level camp: ages 10 - 14
Beginner Level camp: ages 8 - 12
Intermediate Level camp: ages 10 - 14
06. What is the Student : Instructor Ratio?
Buttercup STEAM Camp has a maximum of 10 campers per camp. Each camp has two Instructors present each day of camp and 1-2 camp assistants and volunteers.
07. What should my camper bring to camp?
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn.
- Students must bring their own nutritious lunch.
- A sweater in case gets chilly due to central air.
08. How do I recieve a refund?
Refund Policy: Your enrollment & prepayment reserves camp space for your child(ren). We have a strict refund policy due to the high costs of hardware, software, facility rental and staff resources. No refunds will be issued for early withdrawal or dismissal due to absences (for any reason) including sickness, behavioral dismissals, power failures, weather, and unforeseeable events not within the control of ButtercupSTEAM or other acts of nature. If participants are not able to complete the camp, the camp fee is not prorated and no refund will be issued, including partial refunds or credits.
In the event we do not meet our minimum enrollment for a camp we will cancel the camp & notify you of an alternate camp based on availability. If in the unlikely event ButtercupSTEAM has to cancel a camp or class, refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days from the date of cancellation if an alternate class is not chosen or available. In the event we do not meet our minimum enrollment for a camp we will cancel the camp & notify you of an alternate camp based on availability. If in the unlikely event ButtercupSTEAM has to cancel a camp or class, refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days from the date of cancellation if an alternate class is not chosen or available.
